Welcome to CUPE Local 46

CUPE Local 46 encompasses a wide diversity of occupations among its members. We are a 750 member union that represents the following areas and sub-locals.

• City of Medicine Hat
• Medicine Hat Public Library
• Town of Redcliff
• Cypress View Foundation
• Medicine Hat Community Housing Society

The executive of the local is strongly committed to a better informed membership and improving all lines of communication. It is our intention to keep everyone a part of all the happenings of the local.

We are currently working on several avenues of improved communications including this website. Please feel free at all times to contact any of the executive or your department shop steward should you have any issues or comments. Remember, YOU are the union and this is your local. It runs stronger with your support. New members are encouraged to get involved so come out to our general meetings and see what we can all do together.

General meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Union Hall. (There are no general meetings in the months of July and August).
